Annette Birch has a Master’s degree in journalism from Georgetown University and has written several articles as a freelance journalist. She has a  master’s in law from the University Copenhagen and a diploma in communication from the Danish School of Media and Journalism. She has over 10 years working on immigration and social issues for state and local governments in Denmark. She’s also worked on human rights issues in the United States and Africa.
